The next chapter!
It's too late to turn back now. We spent the day yesterday stripping my jeep, and what was left of the chassis that I wasn't going to use is now gone. Now the fun truly begins. Time to see how much steel I can NOT waste building the new one. Here's proof that I won't be going back now though.

I hope to be bending tube by this weekend at the latest. Hopefully the steel will be here tomorrow. I kinda have the jitters knowing that right now I don't have a toy I can go play in.

You can borrow mine. It hasn't moved in over a year. You would just need to finish the rockers up. Not much left to do on them. I should get pictures up of them this weekend while I am at home and trying to work on them. I did get some work done on them the last time I was home.

I picked up the tubing this evening. I guess it's time to start wasting material. Hopefully not too much though. Let the bending, notching, and welding begin.

Well I guess the race is on between you and Ken. He hopes to have his ready for the fall when we come down there (/ invade) with the Stampeders. Good luck with the build, post progress reports for us!

Yup, we're slowly getting ready to invade... haven't you all looked to see we're all moving to the border. Any day now, but likely not till mid Sept.

We're beefing up our defenses Kevin. We'll be ready for the invasion. 
It was just time for a new chassis, so I took the plunge. I hope to have everything back together by mid August so I can make sure it will work by the time you all invade.
