Even worse, now it's closer to 1 1/2 months away.

Only a month away. How did that happen? I sure am looking forward to it.

I plan on going on the Holy Cross trip and then Hells revenge/Heldorado in Moab if I can get the time off.

Yesterdays test was a somewhat success - put the Jeep on my new (to me - Ex Gunthers) trailer and put it behind my 6.0 GMC with the camper. Not a whole lot of power, but it did it - so I'm OK. Bearing surfaces got hot to the touch - so I have to figure out if I did something wrong with the bearings or I got the brakes too tight.

You're one step closer Kevin. I'm guessing if you just packed the bearings that the brakes just heated everything up. Only a month to go.

Broke down and took it to a shop to check my work. If it was a trip into the mountains at 3 hours I would check it all myself, but we are talking close to 3000 miles so the peace of mind is worth the hundred bucks or so. LOL
