Looking good Jeff, nice to see some ton's under your rig. Are those the same SS SX's you used to have 5 years ago?

Thanks Chris! It's been very nice to finally have the 60's under it. Finally put those gears I bought from you all those years to use. Yep, those are the same sx's that I put on new when I first painted the jeep about 5 1/2 years ago or so. I think they are starting to show their wear a bit. I may have to break down one day and invest in some new shoes.

You did get some use out of those tires for sure.

I couldn't remember who bought that stuff. Did you get the 5.13's or the 4.56's? I can't remember.

I heard those Walker Evans coilovers were not so hot either...sorry. I have came to the conclusion that King/Racerunner/Bilstien are the way to go for Coilovers, and out of them...King is perfered.

I have the 4.56's in mine. Those Walkers definitely didn't pan out too well. Not once I started pushing it harder with the old jeep. They were damaged after 1 day and done after a day and a half of pre-running at last years King of the Hammers. Luckily Roger had some spare air shocks I could put on to finish the week. I'm actually going with 2 1/2" Fox coilovers on the new one.

The last couple of weekends have been filled with doing a lot of little things, but they don't look like I've got a lot accomplished. I'm still waiting for parts to finish my links so I can get the thing rolling. We did managed to get the shocks mounts installed and they came out nice. Still making progress, but it's seeming slow. This weekend I'll be in Crandon, WI for the final TORC race of the season, then pushing hard to get this thing done. As soon as it rolls, I'll get new pics up.
