I had a pretty decent weekend on it, and it's starting to look like something again. I've got more pics posted in the photo gallery in the builds section. It may be a couple weeks until I can really do anything on it again. I'll be in Crandon, WI next weekend with Brad Lovell at the first TORC race of the season. Then I'll be back on it until the next race in July.

Progress on the new ride has been slow the last couple of weeks. I'm working on all the cross bracing and then have to weld out all the tubing. There really isn't much new to post on pics. I'm at one of those points that I can work for hours and it doesn't look all that different. It's coming along though.

Well, the new project is coming along pretty well. It's looking more and more like a vehicle. Most of the cross bracing is done and the chassis is mostly welded out. This weekend I didn't do a lot of tube work but I did get the grill, hood, and cowl cut down and narrowed up. They need a bit of finish work, but they at least fit the jeep and it looks much better with them on there. I've got new pics posted in the photo gallery under my build. I can't wait to get this thing on the trails.

It was a productive weekend. Eric and Jordan helped me out all weekend. We got the drivetrain in and mounted, finished most of the cross braces, got the seats installed, made the front fenders, mounted the grill and cowl, clocked the transfer case up, and a number of other things. I'll be in Bark River, Michigan again next weekend, and then the following weekend it should be a rolling chassis. Then paint, plumbing and wiring. The plan is to have it in paint by the second weekend of Sept. and then start final assembly. I'm pushing hard to make it for the invasion from the north.
